Hyalite, MT

Inspired by Janssen Powers' 40 mile hike along the Teton Crest Trail carrying his 16mm camera, I thought I could at least take my camera along a 15 mile hike up to Hyalite Lake when I got the call to fly to Montana. I had never been before, so I obviously wanted to make the most of it. Yes, it made the trek more difficult with a heavier pack, but I 100% believe it was worth the pain.

This was one of the most spiritual experiences I've ever had in nature. Coming fresh off of a powerful encounter with Jesus a few days prior, I had a lot on my mind. Breathing in the crisp mountain air, the sound of the rapids helped me process the heaviness I was feeling, and let him speak truth into my life.

I hope these images help you to meditate and take a moment to be still.
